Olveston CEVC Primary School
Located on Elberton Road, Olveston Primary School has a rich history and has been part of the village since 1836. The school is proud to have retained some of its character, from the old school bell that sits above the original infant school to stonewalls that hug the school boundary. It accepts children from Reception age through to Year 6.
As a Church of England school, it has strong links with our local church, St. Mary’s, ensuring that the school remains at the heart of village life. Highlights of the year, usually held in the church, include the annual leavers award ceremony and the ever popular Christingle service. Such is the attachment between the school and the community, both of which are often attended by former pupils and parents.
